Wilma Louise Giese, of Wichita, died at her residence on February 23, 2012, at the age of 80.

She was born in Eureka on May 12, 1931, the daughter of William and Leota (Jacobs) Mock. Wilma was raised in the Hamilton area and attended Hamilton schools, graduating from Hamilton High School with the class of 1949. After her schooling she moved to Wichita and worked at Cudahy Packing. She then became a real estate agent and broker, working for several agencies in Wichita before opening her own real estate business.

She was united in marriage to Rex Giese in Wichita.

Wilma is survived by one step-son, Jim Copeland of Wichita, two step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild, one brother, John Mock of
Eureka, and one sister, Maedellee Scott of Turon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother David Mock.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012, at Greenwood Cemetery, with Mr. Jayme Koup officiating.

A memorial has been established in her name to the Disabled American Veterans. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
