Toni Lynn Conklin of Odessa, Texas, died on Monday, August 7, 2023, at her home in Odessa, at the age of 71.
She was born on December 23, 1951, in Eureka, Kansas, the daughter of Tony and Betty (Staten) Mohesky. Toni was raised in Greenwood County and attended local schools, until the family moved to Odessa, where she graduated from Permian High School. Following high school, she attended cosmetology school, and later earned her bachelor’s degree in teaching. She then taught at Odessa College until her health forced her to retire.
Toni is survived by a son, Michael Conklin of Odessa, Texas; brother, Bradley Mohesky of Odessa, and sister, Stacey Armstrong of Odessa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 18, 2023, at Greenwood Cemetery, with Father Nic Jurgensmeyer of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating. Condolences for the family may be left online at koupfunerals.com, which is overseeing arrangements.
