Terry A. Northedge Murray, of Spearfish, South Dakota, died at her home on Thursday, September 11, 2003, at the age of 69.
She was born on April 29, 1934, in Utopia, Kansas, the daughter of Maurice and Florrie (Allen) Northedge. She attended Eureka Schools and graduated from Eureka High School.
On December 12, 1960, Terry was united in marriage to Jerry Murray in Blackwell, Oklahoma. They moved to Spearfish in 1973, where Jerry was a district manager with Pamida and traveled over five states. Following his retirement they purchased the Spearfish Book Store which they operated for five years. Terry enjoyed collecting antiques, refinishing furniture, and outdoor sports.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home, son, Mike Brandon of Wichita, daughters, Cathie Brandon of Newell, South Dakota, and Susan (Patrick) McDonouch of Prairieville, Louisiana, brother, Kenneth Northedge of Eureka, sister, Nancy Sill of Madison, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 19, 2003, in Greenwood Cemetery
A memorial has been established in her name to the Hospice of the Northern Hills. Contributions may be sent in care of the Koup Family Funeral Home which was in charge of service arrangements.
