Susan Ann Wells of Vian, Oklahoma, died on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Vian Nursing and Rehab, in Vian, at the age of 66.

She was born on March 18, 1952, in Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer Ernest and Viola Mae (Blevins) Drake. She was raised in Neodesha and attended local schools. In May of 1969, Susan was united in marriage to John Lou Kelley in Independence, Kansas. To this union, three children were born. This marriage later ended in divorce. Susan later moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma in the late 70’s around which time she was united in marriage to Jack McTague. To this union one son was born. This marriage later ended in divorce. In the early 80’s, Susan returned to Kansas, working for the nursing home in Eureka. In the later 80’s, Susan moved to Howard, and was united in marriage Fred Wells. He preceded her in death in May 1998.

She is survived by four children, Teresa Jeanneret of Eureka, Kansas; Melinda Perkens of Vian, Oklahoma; Michele Jordan of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and Kevin McTague of Riverview, Florida; nineteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Drake of Eureka. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ernest Drake.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Toronto Cemetery, in Toronto, Kansas with Pastor Jerry Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the DaVita Redbird Smith Dialysis, Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O.
