Stoney Lee Sherman of Moline, died on Monday, November 12, 2018, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, at the age of 49.
He was born on April 25, 1969, in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of Lester and Phyllis (Roberts) Sherman. He was raised in Eureka and graduated from Eureka Junior Senior High School with the Class of 1990. After his schooling, he began working for New Beginnings and eventually began living at the group home in Moline.
He is survived by his parents, Phyllis & Irl Chastain of Eureka; and Lester & Mary Sherman of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his siblings, Tamala McMillen of Plano, Texas; and Sean Sherman of Seattle, Washington.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Koup Family Funeral Home, in Eureka with Ms. Krista Moreno officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation hours are set from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
