Ruby Grace Kindle

Ruby Grace Kindle, of Eureka, died on September 13, 2004, at Newman Regional Health Center in Emporia, Kansas at the age of 86.
She was born on April 3, 1918, in Kilgore, Nebraska, the daughter of Harvey Harrison and Catherine (Danofsky) Morgan. She was raised in Sunrise, Wyoming and attended Sunrise High School. After graduating from high school she worked as a nurse. Ruby moved to Eureka in 1964, and earned her Associated of Arts degree from Butler County Community College and Bachelors degree from Wichita State University. She worked at Greenwood County Hospital from June 1968, to July 1985, and as director of nursing from 1984, to 1985, before retiring.
On March 1, 1951, Ruby was united in marriage to Clifford Kindle. They made their home in Eureka.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband Clifford; son, Terry Kindle of Eureka; and daughter, Jill Kindle of Spring, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, C. Harvey Kindle; two brothers, and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at 4:00 P.M., Thursday, September 16, 2004, at Koup Family Funeral Home with Mr. Jayme Koup officiating. Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name to the American Heart Association. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
