Ronald James Jardot, of Hamilton, died on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at his home in Hamilton, at the age of 59.
He was born on June 8, 1953, in Emporia, the son of Ralph and Anna May (Crabtree) Jardot. While growing up, the family lived all across the country. After his schooling he began working in the oilfields as a roustabout. Ron was united in marriage to Melody Shephard, she preceded him in death. He worked in Kansas, Oklahoma, and California before his health forced him to retire. Ron was later united in marriage to Charla Self. This marriage ended in divorce.
He is survived by two sons, Seth Jardot of Hamilton; and Jess Jardot of Hamilton; step-son, Aron Watkins of Hutchinson; step-grandchild; and one sister, Deb Dannels of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Terresa Jones.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 29, 2013 at Blakely Cemetery in Madison with Pastor Mark Demas of the Hamilton United Methodist Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to AseraCare Hospice. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
