Robert Dwain Logsdon of El Dorado, died on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado at the age of 83.
He was born on November 29, 1928 in Howard, the son of John Robert and Florence (Downs) Logsdon. He was raised in Eureka and attended local schools. Dwain later entered the United States Army where he served with honor and dignity in Korea. After he returned home, he worked in gas stations and car part stores. On October 31, 1953, Dwain was united in marriage to M. Jean Tomlinson, in El Dorado. This marriage later ended in divorce. The family moved to El Dorado in 1964.
Dwain is survived by two daughters, Norma and husband, Alvin Hicks of Augusta; and Sherri and husband, Bob Frey of Wichita; and his companion of ten years, Judy McCarthy of Derby. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held privately. Visitation hours are from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Koup Family Funeral Home, in Eureka.
