Reba Delight Price

Reba Delight Price, of Toronto, died at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita on Friday, February 17, 2006, at the age of 83.
She was born in Toronto on March 6, 1922, the daughter of John H. and Ellen Josephine (Lillie) Hobbs. She was raised in Toronto and attended school there.
On September 9, 1939, Reba was united in marriage to Clark B. Wilson Jr. in Yates Center. After their marriage they owned and operated a restaurant in Yates Center. To this union three children were born. The marriage later ended in divorce.
On March 24, 1949, she was married to Riker K. Price in Newkirk, Oklahoma. They made their home in Toronto where Reba was a bookkeeper and co-owner of DEL Feed. Riker preceded her in death on June 8, 1979. Reba continued with the feed store until 1984, when she retired.
Reba was a member of the Toronto American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and had served as the secretary of the Toronto Cemetery Board for twenty-six years.
She is survived by her brother, Lowell “Jean” Hobbs of Banning California, son, Glen Wilson and wife Carol of Spartanburg, South Carolina, daughters, Evelyn Rector and husband Jerry of Venus, Texas, and Marilyn Coley and husband Randy of Andover, Kansas, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at Koup Family Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Miller of Andover officiating. Interment will follow in Toronto Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name to the American Heart Association. Contributions my be sent in care of the funeral home at P.O. Box 595, Eureka, Kansas 67045.
