Randall G. French, of Iola, formerly of Eureka, died on January 30, 2006, at Allen County Hospital, at the age of 69.
Randall G. French was born on September 8, 1936, the son of Reuben and Bessie (Briggs) French in Eureka, Kansas. He attended Eureka High School. After his schooling, he went to work in the oil fields as a roustabout. He also farmed before retiring in 1996, and moving to Iola.
In 1957, he married Anita Mumford. This marriage later ended in divorce. He then married Sandra Walker. This marriage was later dissolved.
He is survived by one son, Michael French of Eureka; two sisters Mildred Cowen of Tucson, Arizona; and Betty Moon of Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jeff, three brothers, and five sisters.
Memorial services will be held on February 1, 2006, at 2:00 P.M., at Koup Family Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Moore of the Prince of Peace church officiating.
