Pauline Bell Mock, of Eureka, died at Medicalodge of Eureka on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at the age of 89.
She was born in Greenwood County, Kansas on December 21, 1915, the daughter of Fred and Ethel (Purkeypile) Denner. She was raised in the Utopia/Tonovay area and attended area schools.
On May 3, 1937, she was united in marriage to Milton E. Mock in Wichita, Kansas. They made their home in the Reece, Kansas area where Pauline was a homemaker. Milton preceded her in death on December 7, 1963. In 1998, she moved to Eureka.
Pauline was a member of the Reece Christian Church, several ladies church groups, and H.D.U.
She is survived by three sons, Edward Mock of Salina, Kansas, and Milton “Dan” Mock and Steven Mock both of Reece, two daughters, Patricia Lawrence of Eureka and Paula Goodell of Reece, fifteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and one sister, Ivone Denner of Eureka. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 30, 2005, at Koup Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
