Pauline Florence Kennedy, 86, of Eureka, died on Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Greenwood County Hospital.
She was born March 18, 1919 at Eureka, the daughter of Edward Edwin Hale and Fannie (Nichols) Denner Hale.
She was baptized in the Christ Lutheran Church, in Eureka.
Pauline attended grade school at Loy and Hardscrabble and graduated from Tonovay High School.
On March 1, 1963, she was married to Noel C. Kennedy at Texarkana, Texas. They moved from Amarillo, to Topeka and in 1981, made their home in Eureka.
Pauline retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1981 after 41 years of service.
Survivors include a sister, Leona Edwards, of Fredonia; three nephews; and five nieces.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; a sister, Lenora Bane; and a brother, Maurice Hale.
Funeral services will be held at the Koup Family Funeral Home by Pastor Roger Dennis of the Christ Lutheran Church, January 3, 2006 at 2:00 P.M., with interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name at the Christ Lutheran Church, Eureka. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
