Paul Boyd Bjorling of Eureka, died on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his home in Eureka, at the age of 74.
He was born on May 5, 1940, in Topeka, the son of Dorothy Bjorling. He was raised in Blue Rapids and graduated from Blue Rapids High School. After his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving his country with honor and dignity. After his discharge, he began working for Boeing and Cessna in Washington state. On April 9, 1964, he was united in marriage to Anita Hill. They made their home in Wamego, and later moved to Eureka in 1993.
Paul was a member of the New Life Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife, Anita of the home; one daughter, Lori Ford of Eureka; one son, Mark Bjorling of Wichita; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his mother, and one son, Michael Paul Bjorling.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 30, 2014 at the New Life Assembly of God with Pastor Ray Frye officiating. Inurnment will follow at Wabaunsee Cemetery.
The family has requested that memorials be made to the New Life Assembly of God. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
