Patricia Belle “Pat” Knudsen, of Eureka, died on March 16, 2004, at Via Christi-St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, at the age of 64.
She was born on March 6, 1940, in Buffalo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Preston and Judy (Sharp) Black. Her early years were spent in Texas. The family moved to Independence, Kansas during Pat’s school years, and she graduated from Independence High School with the class of 1958.
In 1960, Pat was united in marriage to Frank Lammon in Wichita. They lived in Texas until 1963, when they moved to Wichita. To this union three children were born. The marriage later ended in divorce.
In 1971, Pat moved to Eureka where she worked in area restaurants. In 1974 she was united in marriage to Laverne Knudsen. The marriage later ended in divorce.
She is survived by one son, Daniel Lammon of Oklahoma, and two daughters, Debby Witt of Missouri, and Jana Sutter of Rosalia, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services were held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 19, 2004, at Koup Family Funeral Home with Mr. Jayme Koup officiating. Inurnment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
