Patricia Louise Fowler of Eureka, died on April 24, 2011 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita at the age of 61.
She was born on March 15, 1950 in Eureka, the daughter of Paul E. and Mary Lou (Samuels) Davis. After her schooling, she worked a variety of jobs in and around Eureka. Patricia was a secretary, waitress, and dental assistant. Later she received her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant working at Medicalodge and later Greenwood County Hospital.
On July 1, 1967 she was united in marriage to Larry Fowler in Howard.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; son, Troy Fowler of Attica; daughter, Lori Myers of Gardner; three grandchildren, April Myers of Gardner, Nathaniel Fowler of Attica, and Abigail Fowler of Attica; mother, Mary Lou Davis of Arkansas City; step-father, Roger Davis of Arkansas City; step-mother, Charlotte Smith of Fall River; brother, Larry Smith of Colorado, and half-sister, Tammy Strange of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Eugene Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Terry Morris officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
