Neola Fern Jones

Neola Fern Jones of Eureka, died on August 13, 2013 at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka at the age of 91.
She was born on June 24, 1922, in Greenwood County, Kansas, the daughter of William Leo and Lela Pearl (Mullinax) Culbertson. She was raised in Eureka and graduated from Eureka High School. Neola was united in marriage to Homer Prye. This marriage later ended in divorce. Neola lived in Valley Center, Pratt, and Chanute, eventually returning to Eureka. Neola was united in marriage to Donald E. Jones on December 9, 1967. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2000.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Dehlinger of Eureka; five grandchildren; fifteen greatgrandchildren;
one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Dale Culbertson of Eureka. She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter, Connie Guess.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 19, 2013 at Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka with Pastor Robert Robison of the First Christian Church of Madison officiating. A private family inurnment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Eureka Nursing Center or the Greenwood County Hospital. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
