Mildred Jane Tucker, of Eureka, Kansas died on August 21, 2006, at Medicalodge of Eureka at the age of 95.
She was born on November 27, 1910, the daughter of Bert Lorenzo and Dora Delilah Duncan. She was raised around Kanorado and Oberlin, Kansas. The family then moved to Missouri and Arkansas before finally settling in Western Kansas.
On February 2, 1932, she married John Walter Tucker in El Dorado, Kansas. They made their home in Eureka where John and Mildred ranched and farmed.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Eyvonnie & husband, Harold McLean of Piedmont; Arthenia & husband, Curtis Moser of Lowville, New York; son, Lowell & wife, Joyce of Sedgwick; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and brother, Jack Duncan of Circle City, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Violet Beverly Tucker; four brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 25, 2006, at Koup Family Funeral Home with Reverend Diana Hill of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
