Melba Louise Reising

Melba Louise Reising of Eureka, formerly of Hamilton, died on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the age of 96.
She was born on October 28, 1911 in Hamilton, Kansas the daughter of Ed and Mary (Monier) Reising. She was raised in the Hamilton area and attended local schools. After her schooling she moved to Wichita to be a nanny. Melba later moved back to Hamilton to care for her father.
She was a member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her care givers Larry and Kay Short of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Janesville Cemetery, Hamilton, Kansas with Pastor Mark Demas officiating.
A memorial has been established in her name to the Hamilton United Methodist Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, Kansas 67045.
