Mary Ellen Lamb of Eureka, Kansas, died on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Greenwood County Hospital, in Eureka, Kansas, at the age of 70.
She was born October 11, 1950, in Eureka, Kansas, the daughter of Lyle B. Welsh and Violet Marion (Runnells) Williams. She attended Eureka schools and graduated with the Class of 1968. She had two children, Kelly Welsh and Shelly (Wasson) Shay.
She is survived by her mother, Violet Williams of Eureka; siblings, Lyle Welsh of Eureka; Joe and wife, Lynn Welsh of Eureka; Dwayne and wife, Dana Williams of Fall River; sister, Marilee and husband, Kevin McCoy of Eureka; son, Kelly Welsh and children, Wenonah & Maverick of Eureka; granddaughter, Stacia and her son, Asher of Iola; grandson, Tyler and his son, Stetson of Fredonia; as well as a great many nieces and nephews whom she cared deeply for. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father Lyle, her daughter, Shelly, and her grandson Todd.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Koup Family Funeral Home, Eureka, Kansas with Pastor Larry Evans of the Neal Evangelical Free Church officiating. Cremation has been effected. Inurnment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family online, at koupfunerals.com.
