Mary Alice Houston, of Eureka, died on Friday, May 2, 2003, at the age of 85.
She was born in Howard, Kansas on October 17, 1917, the daughter of William and Mary Alice (Hinkle) Allen.
On May 10, 1957, she was united in marriage to Ray Houston in Eureka. They made their home in Eureka and owned and operated Eureka Locker. Ray preceded her in death on January 31, 1990.
Mary Alice was a member of Queen Bess chapter 56 of Eureka, the Lioness Club, and the First United Methodist Church of Eureka.
She is survived by many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, May 05, 2003, at the Koup Family Funeral Home with Reverend Diana Hill of the First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas.
A memorial has been established to the First United Methodist Church. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
