Marilyn Rose Bradbury of Dearing, Kansas died on June 6, 2007, at her home in Dearing at the age of 66.
She was born on October 14, 1940, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of John R. and Marian (Kemerling) Oakley. She was raised in Havanna and the Coffeyville areas and graduated from Coffeyville High School in 1958.
In 1958, she married Charles H. Peaster this marriage later ended in divorce. On July 13, 1972, she married James Hollis Bradbury in Maryville, Missouri. They lived in Rock Port and Ozark, Missouri, also, Eureka and Dearing, Kansas.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Hollis Bradbury of Dearing; daughters, Jackie Lembke of Wichita, Kansas; Holly Bozone and Sherry Griffitts both of Ozark, Missouri; sons, Charles H. Peaster Jr. of Wichita, Kansas and Guy Bradbury of Lawton, Oklahoma; brother and sister-in-law Don and Betty Oakley of Albany, Missouri; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many loving nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 15, 2007, at Koup Family Funeral Home with Jayme Koup officiating. Cremation has been effected.
