Margoux Lee of Ammon Idaho, daughter of Dean and Patsy Erickson of Jackson, Wyoming was born Cherry Louise Erickson on August 11, 1967 in Eureka. Cherry went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ January 25, 2011 from Salt Lake City Utah’s University Hospital.

Cherry lived in Greenwood County from 1967 until 1979 when the family moved to Missoula, Montana; living in Missoula for five years then moving to Cody, Wyoming in 1984, where she graduated from Park Christian High School in 1985. After high school Cherry attended Northwest Community College in Powell, Wyoming, then Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

Cherry married Daniel Huhn on May 1, 1992 in Jackson, Wyoming. Cherry then lived in Wyoming, Alaska, and Idaho for the next twenty years. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Jackson, WY and always considered it her home.

Cherry struggled with a mental illness most of her adult life. She always had a care for other people, especially those with mental health issues. She was instrumental in instigating new policies for people with mental health issues in both Wyoming and Idaho.

The highlight of Cherry’s life was her son Nathan. Even in times of severe mental illnesses she was always concerned for his well being. That he was OK and doing well. Her mother and sister were her best friends and physical and emotional supporters.

After accepting the Lord as her Savior, Cherry loved the Scripture and was always writing it onto 3x5 cards that she would spread around her room, carry it with her, and share it with others. She also found ways to incorporate it into her mental health treatment.

The Lord had given Cherry a talent and love for music. She played the piano and oboe. During her life she was a blessing to others by singing solos and participating in many trios and choirs as her health allowed. God gave her artistic talent in the form of drawing and painting which she also shared with those she loved.

Cherry loved crafting and found her niche in making beaded watch bands and jewelry. She passed on her enthusiasm for jewelry making to her two nieces Megan and Abigail Dawson. This was something she could give of herself to others.

Cherry is survived by her parents, Dean and Patsy Erickson of Jackson, Wyoming; son, Nathan Erickson of Evanston, Wyoming; sister, Kimberly and husband, Clint Dawson and children of Cody, Wyoming; brothers, Bradley and wife, Janet Erickson and children of Powell, Wyoming; Brian and wife, Misty Erickson and children of Rigby, Idaho; grandmother, Bertha Erickson of Eureka; uncle, Maurice Erickson and family of Eureka; aunt, Christine Hill and family of Hutchinson; uncle, Frankie Reeder, and aunt, Sandy Hughes of Nowata, Oklahoma; plus numerous other family members and friends.
