Leona Lucille Knight, of Toronto, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Yates Center Healthcare and Rehabilitation, in Yates Center, at the age of 87.
She was born on October 7, 1919, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the daughter of Frank and Bessie (Mosier) Stout. On December 4, 1937, she was united in marriage to Emory Knight in Perry, Oklahoma. They made their home in Stillwater until 1968, when they moved to Toronto. On March 1, 1991 Emory preceded her in death.
Leona was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, George Knight of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Oles Knight of Toronto, Kansas; John Knight of Nowata, Oklahoma; and Robert βRayβ Knight of Mulhall, Oklahoma; one daughter, Grace Knight of Chanute, Kansas; one brother, Bill Stout of Perry, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 9, 2007, at Morris Heights Cemetery in Orlando, Oklahoma with Pastor Gilbert Forrest of the Mulhall Christian Church officiating. A viewing will be held from 5 β 7 P.M., on Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Koup Family Funeral Home, in Eureka, which was in charge of service arrangements.
