Leona Pearl Damron, of Eureka, died at Medicalodge of Eureka on Saturday, May 31, 2003, at the age of 74.
Leona was born at Princeton, Kansas on February 1, 1929, the daughter of Levi Joseph and Bessie Mae (Anderson) Blevins. She was raised in the Toronto area and attended Toronto schools.
On June 30, 1947 Leona was united in marriage to John W. Damron in Toronto. They made their home in Toronto, Fredonia, and Neodesha. They later divorced.
On November 21, 1992, Leona was united in marriage to William D. Combs. They later divorced.
Leona was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Ronnie Damron, of Quincy, one daughter Pamela Watts of Virgil, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one sister, Viola Drake of Eureka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at Toronto Cemetery with Pastor Larry Evans of the Neal Evangelical Free Church officiating.
