Larry Gene Ebberts

Larry Gene Ebberts, of Arlington, Texas, died on September 14, 2004, in Branson, Missouri, at the age of 61.
He was born on December 1, 1942, in Eureka, Kansas, the son of Gene W. and Opal P. (Pritchard) Ebberts. He was raised in Severy, and attended Severy schools. He later worked for Beech Aircraft in Wichita, and installed burglar alarms in California until 1990, when he began working as a food inspector for the federal government.
On May 21, 1988, he was united in marriage to Verna Wright in Farmington, New Mexico. They lived throughout the United States, moving from place to place.
Larry is survived by his wife, Verna; mother, Pauline; four sons, Larry Ebberts, Jr., Michael Ebberts, Warren Ebberts, and Kelly Ebberts; four step-sons, Casey Salazar, Royce Hendrix, John Potter, and Shannon Potter; daughter, Jennifer Forbes; step-daughters, Marcia Reed, and Jennifer Best; twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Ron Ebberts and Howard Ebberts; one sister, Paula French.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 18, 2004 at South Lawn Cemetery, Severy with Mr. Jayme A. Koup officiating.
