Kenneth Russell McClintick of Augusta, died on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Homestead Assisted Living in Augusta, at the age of 87.
He was born on August 19, 1930, in Madison, Kansas, the son of Robert Vernon and Mary Opal (Bratton) McClintick. He was raised in the Madison\Hamilton, and Eureka areas. He attended schools at Sealy and in Hamilton and Eureka. He later moved to Wichita, Kansas. In 1949, Kenneth was united in marriage to Mary Ann Olson in Wichita. To this union, two children were born. This marriage later ended in divorce.
Kenneth later moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On May 1, 1960, Kenneth was united in marriage to Helen Harbison in Oklahoma City. To this union, three children were born. This marriage later ended in divorce and Kenneth returned to Wichita, working for Boeing. He retired from Boeing in 1996 and made his home in Eureka until his health forced him to move to Augusta, Kansas.
He was a member of the Masons.
He is survived by his children, Dr. Mike and wife, Linda McClintick of Eureka, Kansas; Tamara and husband, Doug Green of Seminole, Florida; Lisa and husband, Brad Turgeon of Winfield, Kansas; Mark McClintick of Douglass, Kansas; and Terri McClintick of Denver, Colorado; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings: Jim McClintick, Curtis McClintick, Joann Beatty, and Connie Krauss.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 18, 2017 at Greenwood Cemetery, in Eureka with Pastor Mark Wykoff of Crossroads Community Church of Winfield officiating.
