Keith Duffy Swats of Eureka, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his home in Eureka, at the age of 65.
He was born on July 25, 1954, in Wichita, the son of Charles William and Virginia Lee (Boyer) Swats. He was raised in Wichita and attended local schools. After his schooling, he worked as a helicopter mechanic in Wichita and volunteered for Spoken Ministry prison outreach program. He later earned his minister license.
On October 16, 1991, Keith was united in marriage to Deborah Ruth Brown in Wichita. They made their home in Wichita until they felt the call of quiet country life and moved to rural Eureka in 1992. Keith enjoyed hunting, and fishing and spent his time helping others and serving the Lord. He was an attendant of the Community Worship Center in Rosalia, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah of the home; children, Chablise Milby of Arkansas City, Kansas; Jamie Soriano of Abingdon, Maryland; Ronnie Anderson, Jr. of Andover, Kansas; Monica Mattson of Post Falls, Idaho; Lindsay Stapleford of Eureka; Charity Hall of Eureka; and Melissa Granado of Eureka; and twenty-one grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Community Worship Center, Rosalia with Pastor Jim DeWitt officiating. Cremation has been effected.
