Kathryn “Katie” Williams, of Eureka, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Medicalodge in Eureka, at the age of 82.
She was born on February 10, 1924, in Quincy, the daughter of Barney and Nora (King) Worford. She was raised in the Quincy area and graduated from Quincy High School with the class of 1942. After graduation, Katie attended Emporia State Teachers College.
In October of 1946, Katie was united in marriage to Morris D. Ratcliff in Hamilton. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1971. In 1976, she was united in marriage to Jack L. Williams, in Eureka. He preceded her in death in February of 2000.
Katie was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Richard M. “Dick” Ratcliff of Salina; one daughter, Judy Bronaugh of Carrollton, Texas; one brother, Wayne Worford of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; one step-sister, Yolanda Bischoff of El Dorado; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and one brother.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 29, 2006 at Janesville Cemetery, Hamilton, with Mr. Jayme A. Koup officiating.
