Judy Arguelles

Juliana Arguelles of Eureka, died on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Eureka Nursing Center, in Eureka, at the age of 90.
She was born September 30, 1929, in Moline, Kansas, the daughter of Anastasio and Francisca (Martinez) Arguelles. She was raised in Eureka and graduated from local schools. She was a nurse assistant for Dr. Obourn in Eureka and worked at the Greenwood County Hospital for over 37 years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart Altar Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria Teresa “Terri” Dozal of Wichita; two grandchildren, Abram and Elena; four great-grandchildren, Sofia, Yvette, Nadia, and Julian; one sister, Donna Escareno of Wichita; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by ten siblings: Delfina Brown, infant Selso Arguelles, Petra Walker, Celso Arguelles, Maria Ortiz, Pauline Arguelles, Connie Murillo, Irene Bonilla, Raymond Arguelles, and infant Joseph Arguelles.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eureka with Fr. Dominic Potnuru, Fr. Michael Peltzer, and Fr. Steve Gronert officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka. Rosary recitation will begin at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, at the church.
