Jolene Dawn Tolliver of Eureka, died on Thursday, August 8, 2013 in Dodge City, at the age of 46.
She was born on October 7, 1966 in Emporia, the daughter of Owen Samuel and Wilma Frankie (Thorne) McCormick. She was raised in Madison and graduated from Madison High School with the class of 1985. She later moved to Eureka. On October 6, 1992, Jolene was united in marriage to Charles Allen Smith in Eureka.
Jolene is survived by her husband, Charles of the home; two daughters, Sabrina Dawn Smith of Eureka; and Salena Frankie Smith of Eureka; and two sisters, Olene Harris of Hamilton; and Marlene Ward of Eureka. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Jasmine Kay Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 12, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor John Craighead of the Jefferson Street Baptist Church officiating. Visitation hours are from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the American Heart Association. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
