Jesse Lee Rhodes, of Hamilton, died near Hamilton, Kansas, on October 24, 2003, at the age of 15.
He was born in Overland Park, on March 15, 1988, the son of Ronald Lesley and Linda (Dobson) Rhodes. He was raised in the Eureka and Hamilton areas and attended Hamilton schools.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Linda Rhodes, of Hamilton; step-father, Cliff Cooper of Hamilton; three brothers, Doug Rhodes of Mapleton, Larry Rhodes of Bronson, Brian Rhodes of Cameron, Missouri; one sister, Maria Frencher of Kansas City, Missouri; and his grandmother, Thelma Rhodes of Prescott. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at Hamilton High School with Chaplain Ronald Dow officiating.
The Jesse Rhodes Memorial Fund has been established in his name. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home which was in charge of service arrangements.
