Jerry “Bee” Davidson, of Eureka, Kansas died on November 26, 2006, at Greenwood County Hospital at the age of 76.

He was born on April 17, 1930, the son of Jerry and Mable (Green) Davidson in Cromwell, Oklahoma. Bee was raised in Cromwell and graduated from high school there. After his schooling he moved to Eureka in 1950, where he worked for Ohio Oil Company. He later started his own independent contracting business in welding and electrical work.

On May 27, 1949, he was married Jo Wayman in Okemah, Oklahoma. They moved to Eureka where they raised their family.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and The Midian Shrine Temple.

He is survived by his wife Jo; daughter Vicki Larson and husband Kevin of Olathe, Kansas; two grandchildren Jared Larson of Newark, Delaware and Kyle and husband Adam Soeken of Great Bend, Kansas; brothers Bill Davidson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jack Davidson of Houston, Texas; sisters Ellen Priesendorf and Betty Thomas both of Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Koup Family Funeral Home with Reverend Diana Hill Officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in his name to the Shriners Plane of Mercy and the First United Methodist Church.
