Jeromie Lee Mitchell, of Eureka, died Monday, March 9, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, at the age of 46.
Jeromie was born December 4, 1973, in Eureka, Kansas, the son of Derald Dean and Terri Lyn (Curnutt) Mitchell. He was raised in Eureka and attended local schools, earning his GED. Following his schooling, Jeromie worked for Banks Construction in El Dorado, Kansas, before going to work at Eureka Pizza Hut as a cook and delivery man. He continued his job at Pizza Hut, until his health deteriorated.
He is survived by his parents; five children: Tiann Mitchell, Tavia Mitchell, Jaron Mitchell, Paxton Mitchell, and Payton Mitchell all of Eureka; one granddaughter: Kinlee Marie Mitchell of Eureka; and one brother: Brian Mitchell of Eureka. He was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Olivia Marie Mitchell-Browne; and one brother, Travis Mitchell.
Graveside services are set for 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 16, 2020, at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka, with Pastor Kevin Lawrence of the Climax United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation hours are set from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home.
