Janet Dee Warren of Eureka, died on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Greenwood County Hospital, in Eureka, at the age of 87.

She was born on January 8, 1935, in Erie, Kansas the daughter of Cecil and Alice (Williams) Edwards. She was raised in Chanute and Eureka graduating from Climax High School with the Class of 1952. On December 6, 1953, Janet was united in marriage to Leonard L. Booth. They made their home in Eureka. To this union, four children were born. This marriage later ended in divorce. Janet worked for IPS.
On June 3, 1977, Janet was united in marriage to Leonard Earl Warren in Wichita, Kansas. They made their home in Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2017.

She is survived by her children, Dusty and wife, Joni Booth of Eureka; Rusty and wife, Linda Booth of Eureka; Gaylene and husband, Daniel Corbett of Langley, Washington; and Beth and husband, Brad Asher of Eureka; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six siblings: brothers, Danny Edwards of Texas; and Tim Edwards of Chanute; and sisters, Cheryl Lee Allen of Chanute; EJ Pickett of Marion; Linda Edwards of Princeton, Texas; and Cecile Edwards of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers Gary Edwards and Eddy Moses.

Cremation has been effected. No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will take place at Upper Fall River Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Kansas Humane Society. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home is overseeing arrangements. Condolences may be left for the family online, at koupfunerals.com.
