James Keith “Jim” Snyder of Hamilton, died on Saturday, June 11, 2011, in Hamilton at the age of 41.
He was born on March 23, 1970, in Eureka, the son of Keith Lance and Linda (Aeschliman) Snyder. He was raised in Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton High School. After his graduation he attended Emporia State University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
In 1995, Jim was united in marriage to Tanya Kimberlin in Madison. This marriage later ended in divorce. Jim lived and worked in Hamilton, owning several oil leases and well service rigs.
He is survived by his parents, Lance and Linda Snyder of Hamilton; and brother, Joel Snyder of Derby. He was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Koup Family Funeral Home, in Eureka with Pastor Mark Demas of the Hamilton United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Janesville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the K.E. Snyder Memorial Scholarship Fund at Emporia State University or the Hamilton Public Library. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
