Jack Lee Beaumont, concrete company owner, died Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at Select Specialty Hospital, Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 64.
He was born on January 31, 1938, in Elk County, Kansas, the son of Robert W. and Wanda Mae (Shipman) Beaumont. At the age of 5 Jack and his family moved to Russell. Later, at the age of 13 the family moved to Howard where Jack attended school and graduated from Howard High School. After his schooling he joined the United States Army and served his country. Upon his discharge he worked as a boot and saddle repairman in Howard, and was an accomplished leather worker and he later owned a concrete company in Wichita Falls, Texas. In September of 1992 he moved to Dalhart, Texas and in May 1996 he moved to Eureka.
He is survived by one daughter Shannon Sue Molina of Wichita, one brother, Pastor Jim L. Beaumont of Wichita, two sisters, Glenda Mills of Moline, Joyce Bills of Severy, and three grandchildren.
Visitation hours will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2002, at Koup Family Funeral Home. Cremation will be effected.
