Henry Eugene Tyner of Toronto, died on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Eureka Nursing Center, in Eureka the age of 82.

He was born on June 21, 1929, in Fall River, the son of Harley Noel and Ruth (Attebery) Tyner. He was raised and lived in various places between Longton and Toronto. The family moved to Toronto in 1945. On November 5, 1950, Eugene was united in marriage to Anna Pearl Cole in Toronto. Eugene farmed, raised hogs and cows, and roofed houses. Anna preceded him in death by 2 hours and 15 minutes.

He was a member of the Toronto Christian Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Currant of Orlando, Florida; and three sons, Harley Tyner of Toronto; Gary Tyner of Toronto; and Rick Tyner of Toronto; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Toronto Cemetery, in Toronto with Pastor Gerald Zuck of New Hope Christian Church of Cherryvale officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Friends for Life. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
