Helen Louise Sanders, of Eureka, died at the Greenwood County Hospital on Saturday, February 15, 2003, at the age of 73.
She was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 15, 1929, the daughter of Floyd and Mary Ann (Wormington) Justice. She was raised in Salina and Eureka, and graduated from Eureka High School with the class of 1950. After her schooling Helen began her career in electronics production with the Electro Dynamics Company in Lenexa, Kansas. In 1974 she retired and moved back to Eureka.
Helen was a devoted mother and grandmother and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Eureka.
She is survived by two daughters, Cherlyn Howard of Garden City, Missouri and Terry Denner of Eureka, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her mother, Mary Ann Justice of Eureka. She was preceded in death by her father.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at the Bible Baptist Church with Reverend Lloyd Stewart officiating. Inurnment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name to the Bible Baptist Church. Contributions may be sent in care of the Koup Family Funeral Home, which was in charge of service arrangements.
