Harold Eugene “Hal” Freisner of Severy, died on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his home in Severy.
He was born on October 6, 1955, in Fredonia, Kansas, the son of Oleas Thomas and Vivian Mae (Weatherbee) Freisner. He was raised in Fall River and attended school there and at Severy. He joined the United States Navy and served on the U.S.S. Marion, based out of Corpus Christi, Texas. In February 1993, Hal was united in marriage to Connie Shinn. She preceded him in death on May 28, 2015. He retired from the Navy after twenty years of service. On August 7, 2018, Hal was united in marriage to Traci Sloan in Severy.
He is survived by his wife, Traci of the home; sister, Virginia Van Buskirk of Severy; and brothers, Donald Freisner of Olpe; and James Aikman of Severy.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation has been effected. Koup Family Funeral Home is overseeing arrangements.
