Glenn Earl Brown of Eureka, died on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at the Eureka Nursing Center, in Eureka, at the age of 86.

He was born on August 30, 1934, in Piedmont, Kansas, the son of William Francis and Mildred Lillian (Indermill) Brown. He was raised in rural Eureka and attended Farmington school. He later attended Enterprise Academy at Enterprise, Kansas, and then began attending Madison College, in Madison, Tennessee.

On January 3, 1956, Glenn was united in marriage to Bernice (Gober) in Nashville, Tennessee. After Glenn completed his schooling to be a Medical Technologist, they made their home in Mount Pleasant, Texas. In 1959, the family returned to Eureka and Glenn began working at Greenwood County Hospital. He worked there until his retirement in the early 2000s.
He was a member of the Eureka Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice of the home; two children, Myron Brown of Eureka; and Kendra and husband, Mike Burke of Eureka; and one sister, Marlys Joy of Avon, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Daryl Dean Brown.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka with Pastor Francois Erasmus of the Eureka Seventh-Day Adventist Church officiating. Masks should be worn and social distancing observed. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Greenwood County Hospital Foundation.
