Geneva May "Jeannie" (Shepherd) Carter died July 28, 2021, at the age of 77, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS.
A Memorial Service will be held August 14 at 4 pm in the Eureka, KS, Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Jeannie was born in Arkansas on April 8, 1944. She was a beloved member of the Eureka and Fredonia Seventh-day Adventist Churches.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband Jack Carter and her daughter Lisa Irene Carter.
Jeannie drove truck with her husband in many different states. She lived in various locations in Arkansas, California, and in Eureka, KS before moving to Fredonia, KS. She is survived by two brothers, William and John Shepherd from Arkansas, and many dear friends.
Burial arrangements are being handled by Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka, KS, where she will be buried next to her daughter.
