Gary Dean Brown

Gary Dean Brown of El Dorado, formerly of Eureka, died on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Lakepoint Nursing and Rehab Center in El Dorado, at the age of 68.
He was born on November 30, 1950, in Eureka, the son of Homer Wallace and Enola Augusta (Gibson) Brown. He was raised in rural Virgil and attended local schools. The family moved to the farm southeast of Eureka in 1963. Gary graduated from Eureka High School with the Class of 1968. Gary worked cutting firewood and doing custom lawn care. He will be remembered as an animal lover.
Gary was a member of the Jefferson Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by his siblings, Russell Brown of Lexington, South Carolina; and Ruth Ann Peoples of Rose Hill, Kansas; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has been effected.
