Fredrick L. Fuller of Eureka, died on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 87.
He was born on April 11, 1922 in Norcater, Kansas the son of Charles Clinton and Marietta (Harrington) Fuller. The family moved to Columbus, Kansas where Fred was raised until the family moved to Lawrence, Kansas where he graduated from high school. After graduation Fred joined the Navy during WWII and was a pilot serving his country with dignity and honor. After the war effort Fred attended K-State. He later became a civil engineer with K-Dot working all over the state of Kansas before retiring after 34 years of service.
On October 28, 1944 Fred was united in marriage to Revea Mahy in Columbus, Kansas.
Fred was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Ottawa, the VFW #2712 and the American Legion and was a 3rd Degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife Revea of the home; son, Fredrick L. Fuller of Puyallup, Wa; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the Christian and Congregational Church with Inurnment following at 3:00 P.M. at Park Cemetery in Columbus, Kansas with Reverend Rhonda Almond officiating.
