Evelyn Johanna Olson

Evelyn Johanna Olson, died on Monday, June 2, 2008, at Medicalodge in Eureka, at the age of 83.
She was born on the youngest child of Theadore and Gunhild Olson on March 22, 1925, at the family home in the Upper Fall River Community. She attended Lapland School, northwest of the family home. She continued her education through correspondence schooling and took tests at the College of Emporia. She has degrees in Engineering, Electronics, and later research in Micro-Biology.
She was a member of the Upper Fall River Lutheran Church.
She entered Medicalodge in the fall of 200 and participated in many activities in the home.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by the many nephews and nieces: Larry Olson, (Alvin); Eleanor Ann Adams, (George); Margaret Jean Spires and Judy Laber, (Roy); Charles Criswell, (Pearl); Marilyn, Dickie, Karen, and Sharon Olson, (Richard); Karmella, Kenneth, Keith, and Kent Olson, (Tony); and Sandra Blevins, (Phyllis).
No services will be held. Cremation has been effected.
Memorials may be made to the Medicalodge Activity Fund or to the Christ Lutheran Church Fund for the Olson Window at Upper Fall River Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of arrangements.
