Jane Stuart, of Toronto, Kansas, died on December 20, 2005, at Medicalodge of Eureka, in Kansas. She was born December 1, 1934, in Barnes, Kansas, to Lothaire Leroy "Bud" Hisey and Hazel Irene Ervin.

She attended schools in Scranton, Junction City, and Ft. Worth, Texas. She was employed at Highland Homes of Topeka, Kansas, from 1974 to 1987, as a Property Manager.

She was united in marriage to Ronald Dean Stuart in Topeka, Kansas, on July 9, 1956. He survives Jane. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.L. "Bud" Hisey and Hazel Hisey; a daughter, Shana Ronea Stuart; a granddaughter, Melissa Marie Vance; two brothers, Frederick Allen Hisey and Bill Taylor; and two sisters, Bonnie Mae Taylor, and Donna Ruth Hisey.

Other survivors include three sons, John Wilson Vance of Chanute; Darel Lee Stuart of Glen Elder; and Edward Dean "Ed" Stuart of El Dorado; one daughter, Rochelle Ronea "Shelly" Stuart of Rockport, Texas; seven grandchildren, Marsha Ann Stipp of Humboldt; Clinton Anthony Vance of Chanute; Dustin Ty Stuart of Clarksville, Tennessee; Daren Lee Stuart of Clarksville, Tennessee; Shana Lee Stuart of El Dorado; Shawn Edward Stuart of El Dorado, and Alicia Ronea Stuart of Rockport, Texas; six great grandchildren, Ashlyn Michele Stipp and Trey Alan Stipp of Humboldt; Ethan Gage Vance and Cayden John Vance of Chanute; C.J. Stuart and Payton Stuart of Clarksville, Tennessee; Hanna Lee Stuart of El Dorado.

Cremation has been effected. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity or animal shelter of your choice.
