Edna Earle Pugh, of Eureka, died on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Medicalodge in Eureka, at the age of 78.
Edna was born on October 16, 1928, in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Oscar and Blanche (Barlow) Patton. She was raised in Jacksonville and attended school there. Edna’s mother passed away while she was still young. The family later moved to Kerrville, Texas and Marble Falls, Texas where Edna met David Pugh.
On October 26, 1969, Edna was united in marriage to David in Marble Falls, TX. They made their home in Corpus Christi while David served in the Navy. In 1970, David retired and the family moved to Kansas. They lived in Kansas for a time before returning to Texas, and then returning to Kansas again in 1989.
She is survived by her husband, David.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 10, 2007 at Koup Family Funeral Home, Eureka with Chaplain Mark Somerville of Hospice Care of Kansas officiating. Cremation has been effected. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
