Edna Fay (Lisk) Knox of Eureka, died on December 22, 2014 at Greenwood County Hospital at the age of 53.

She was born on June 13, 1961 in Miami, Arizona the daughter of Thomas Neil and Mattie Fay (Griffay) Lisk. She was raised in Central Heights and attended Miami Public School graduating in 1980. After her schooling she was united in marriage to Warren Dale Peterson on March 17, 1983. To this marriage was born Lacey Fay and Lance William. In 1994, she was united in marriage to Murray Knox with whom she had Dalton Neil.

She spent her final days with her best friend and companion Jeff Bishop. Edna was an active member in 4-H in Gila County, Arizona. She enjoyed riding horses, camping with friend and family, hunting and fishing. She spent many years decorating cakes, it was a passion of hers. She also enjoyed spending years raising her children and traveling to their Junior Rodeo events. She was a giver, she always tried to give back to the people who needed help. She loved spending time with family, friends, and grandkids.

She is survived by three children, Lacey Fay Lauer of Woodward, Oklahoma; Lance William Peterson of Elk City, Oklahoma; and Dalton Neil Knox of Eureka, Kansas; mother, Mattie Fay Lisk of Miami, Arizona; brothers, Eddie and wife, Diane Lisk of Miami, Arizona; Mike and wife, Corina Lisk of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, Rusty Lisk and wife Kristi of Whitman, Az and sister Fawn Bouse and husband Brian of Woodward, Ok; three grandchildren, Lana Lynn Lauer, Traden Lauer and Tanna Joe Lauer; 9 nieces, 7 great-nieces; 8 nephews and 9 great-nephews; three step-grandchildren; Kacie, Jeff and Kari. She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 2, 2015 at Koup Family Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Warren of the Pleasanton Church of the Nazarene officiating. A private family inurnment will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Edna Knox Memorial Fund. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
