Dorothy M. Kent, 85, passed away on September 13, 2004 at Allen County Hospital.
She was born on June 20, 1919, in Elk Falls, Kansas to Nellie and S. William Ritchards. Dorothy graduated from high school in 1937, and married Logan R. Kent on May 26, 1944.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Leckliter; by her husband Logan R. Kent; two sisters Wilma and Buena; one brother John; two children Tom and Jerry; and one grandchild, John Russell.
She is survived by one brother, Bill Ritchards of Winfield, Kansas, three daughters and two sons, Karen Boldry and her husband Gary, of Littleton, Colorado; Tom Leckliter and his wife Myrna of Herington, Kansas, Kenny Kent and his wife, Paula, of El Dorado, Kansas, Nancy Bowlby and her husband, Jack of Belle Plaine, Kansas, Katy Boren and her husband, Ron of Iola, Kansas; as well as 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 16, 2004 at Koup Family Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held in Elk Falls, Kansas. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name to the Allen County Hospital or Windsor Place of Iola. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home at P.O.
