Dorothy Grace Bradbury, of Eureka, died on Monday, December 18, 2006, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, in Coffeyville, at the age of 96.
She was born on April 6, 1910, in Robinson, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Webster and Mary Josephine (Brown) Criswell. At a young age, the family moved to Ohio, where they lived until 1925, when they moved to Eureka. Dorothy graduated from Eureka High School, which she had attended she was a sophomore.
On March 1, 1928, Dorothy was united in marriage to Delbert Clifton Bradbury, in Howard, Kansas. They made their home in Eureka. In 1937, the family moved to Wichita, then in 1974, moved back to Eureka. Delbert preceded her in death on February 12, 1979.
Dorothy was a member of the Christian & Congregational Church, and the Greenwood County Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Hollis, and daughter-in-law Marilyn Bradbury of Dearing; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert “Duane” Bradbury and two brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Koup Family Funeral Home with Mr. Jayme A. Koup officiating. Cremation has been effected. Inurnment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
