Donald Ivan Rupe

Donald Ivan Rupe, of Douglass, Kansas died on June 26, 2003 at Medicalodge of Douglass at the age of 77.
He was born June 27, 1925 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma the son of Rolly and Florence (Lammon) Rupe. He was raised in Lamar, Colorado and went to high school there. In 1941 he went to work on the John Martin Dam in Las Animas, Colorado. He later became disabled due to a head injury.
He was a devout member of the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his brother Garland of Fair Oaks, California and Glen of Eureka and half brother Jim of Grand Junction, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Loretta.
Private services were held at 2:00P.M., Monday, June 30, 2003 at the Rupe Family Ranch. Pastor Diana Hill presiding.
